On October 21-25, 2015, Georgian fencing athletes of the Parasport Development Centre of Tbilisi participated (100% funded by Tbilisi City Hall) World Cup Wheelchair Fencing Competition held in the city of Paris, France and Ms. Irma Khetsuriani took the gold medal (sword). In the final round, she defeated Polish Patricia Hareza (15: 9). This is the first gold medal of the such worldwide level competition in the history of Georgian fencing.
