On March 12-13, 2016, in the Parasport Development Centre of Tbilisi there was conducted the Tornike Ghoghoberidze named Championship in table tennis. The 9-10 year-old boys and girls took part in the competition for the third time in this year, but this time among participants were the disabled children as well. In the tournament total of 85 children were involved, and among the top 3 winners the disabled children also were, and accordingly the parateam will be established. Tournament organizers awarded the winning athletes with the medals and various gifts.

The Championship was organized and supported by the Tbilisi City Hall, Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, the Table Tennis Federation and the National Paralympic Committee.
